Discovering LA most famous street walls was the coolest thing ever. I’ve been seeing these all over social media but I never really got the chance to go see them in person and I was often discourage because LA’s traffic is so bad that it’s almost impossible to take these pictures on a normal day. Lines are long, cars keep passing through and you can’t stay to long to get your perfect pic because people are waiting (and we don’t want to make people wait, right?)
All in all, a nightmare. On the 4th of July though… Streets were EMPTY. Yup, you read that right. EMPTY. When you think about it, it makes sense: Almost all the stores were closed and (almost) everyone was at the beach. But anyways, I took this as an opportunity and decided to do a little modeling session and shoot you a casual look with some of the most instagramed LA walls as a backdrop.
This look features two of my favorite trends. Yes, you guessed it: The boyfriend jean & the crop top. I always mix these two together because I feel like they give off an “effortlessly cool” and “badass” kind of vibe. Well, I guess I’m also a bit of a tomboy because it seems like I can’t stay away from these types of jeans for too long. These ones are from Calvin Klein and I got them in an outlet for 30% off. They are the most comfortable pair of jean I own and its slouchy boyfriend fit gives me the perfect off-duty style. I added some stripes to the outfit (because sailor fashion all the way) to balance the whole look and give it its feminine/sexy touch.
